Bharat Blockchain Yatra (BBY), a mind-boggling journey that involves 25 series of events, has started extending its branches across 18 states in India. This is first of its kind Tech Tour on Web3 & Blockchain.

Unfolding India’s Blockchain Story, ‘The Shift from Hype to Value’ had its curtain raiser event at the symbolic T-Hub in Hyderabad. This event embarked on a crucial milestone in India’s blockchain journey and pieced together a spirited and committed meeting of government representatives, blockchain experts, industry leaders, thought leaders, developers, and students.

The curtain raiser event started with an extraordinary inauguration ceremony, led by Sudharshan Reddy Minumula, CEO of IDS, and Aravind Voruganti, Convenor of BBY.

Sudharshan, CEO of IDS, gave a speech saying, “We have been pioneers in the enterprise blockchain space, providing cutting-edge blockchain solutions to governments and corporates worldwide across 9 Industry verticals.” He expressed his gratitude to Chandrashekar Buddha for all support and encouragement from AICTE, Ministry of Education, to make this initiative possible.

Aravind Voruganti said that this journey will search for the immense potential of blockchain and Web 3 across India. He stated, “Bharat Blockchain Yatra is a testament to our commitment to fostering blockchain innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Our goal is to not only raise awareness about value-driven blockchain use cases but also provide a platform for companies and startups that have not received the limelight they deserve.”

Chandrasekhar Buddha, CCO of AICTE, was present at the occasion and he launched the B-ON portal. While speaking about the yatra, he said, “India has the biggest advantage of demographic dividend, and the youth of our country should take the advantage of scaling their startups in emerging technologies like Blockchain.”

Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) and Future Skills Prime were skilling partners for Bharat Blockchain Yatra. The Hyperledger India Chapter, Hyderabad DAO, and Blockchained India have contributed to the event’s success as community partners.
