“Which state has experienced 6,000 FIRs in just three months? Which state has witnessed this? Four thousand homes demolished, sixty thousand people displaced.” according to TMC MP Mahua Moitra.
TMC MP Mahua Moitra further says “In our “tum abhi chup raho” republic, where the prime minister tells a governor to “chup raho,” we are here to pose the question. ‘Chup raho’ is a common phrase used to address us as elected members of this House. With this motion, the Manipuri code of silence will be broken. PM Modi won’t pay attention to us; instead, he’ll show up on the final day and deliver his address. Which is worse, that our Prime Minister won’t attend Parliament or that he won’t visit Manipur?”

Adhir Chowdhury will speak in front of the PM in the House during the no-trust motion discussion. In accordance with democratic standards, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in the chamber when Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury speaks during the discussion of the vote of no-confidence.
PM Modi is scheduled to reply to the debate on the no-trust motion at 4 pm. He will respond to the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition parties due to the violence in Manipur. Congressman Gaurav Gogoi started the discussion on the no-confidence motion on Tuesday. Leaders from the administration and opposition engaged in heated debates about the ethnic clashes in Manipur over the course of the past two days in Parliament.
In his first address in the House after being reinstated as an MP, Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, unleashed a harsh attack on the government on Wednesday, accusing it of “dividing” Manipur into two sections. He claimed that the policies of the BJP in the northeastern state had killed India, which infuriated many party members.
When Rahul Gandhi gave the BJP members a flying kiss, a commotion broke out. Although the incident was not caught on camera, a number of the party’s female members of parliament complained to the Speaker, saying the Congress leader had engaged in offensive behaviour and gestures.
