Indian Army dedicates Amrit Sarovar in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tenga Valley

As part of the government’s Mission Amrit Sarovar initiative, the Indian Army opened the Amrit Sarovar in Tenga Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the West Kameng District District Administration. In accordance with the directives of the Indian government, the Amrit Sarovar project places a strong emphasis on community empowerment and rainwater harvesting. The project will contribute to the region’s water security by focusing on rainwater conservation.

The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the General Officer Commanding of Gajraj Corps local formation based at Rupa, and the District Commissioner (DC) of West Kameng district.
