According to Khaama Press, the Taliban’s Supreme Court said that four people, including a woman, were publicly flogged on charges of “immorality” in Kabul’s Paghman district.

According to a news statement released by the Taliban’s Supreme Court on Wednesday, following the verdict, Taliban officials publicly lashed convicts in the Paghman district court in the sight of government officials and some ordinary people.
According to the news release, each convict was sentenced to twenty lashes and one month in prison. After capturing power in August 2021, the Taliban resumed violent torture of ordinary citizens.
Meanwhile, human rights organizations have consistently highlighted in their reports that criminals in Afghanistan under the Taliban do not have access to a legal and regulated court system.
