Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush has finally seen the light of the day on Friday morning. It has witnessed a good advance booking and the first visuals of people gathering inside the movie theatres are slowly getting traction on social media platforms. One of the viral videos even captured a monkey watching Adipurush on the big screen.
In a viral video, we can see a monkey poking his head from an orifice of the theatre auditorium, looking towards the screen where the film is playing. The cine-goers can be heard screaming in unison, and some of them also chant and hum the ‘Jai Shree Ram’ song from the film.

Theatre owners decided to reserve a seat for Hanuman upon Om Raut’s request. During a trailer event for the film in Tirupati, Om Raut requested film’s producers to reserve an empty seat in every theatre where the film is screened as a gesture of honour to Lord Hanuman. The film stars the Prabhas as Lord Ram or protagonist Raghava. The gorgeous Kriti Sanon portrays the character of Sita, also known as Janaki, in the film. Om Raut’s directorial is said to be an adaptation of the Indian epic that centres around the victory of good over evil. In Hindu mythology, Lord Ram is also known as Adi Purusha.
