Discussion between India, Ukraine over implementation of Zelenskyy-Modi agreements

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, spoke over the phone with Ajit Kumar Doval, the national security adviser to the Indian Prime Minister, on Wednesday.

According to the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s official website, the two discussed the implementation of the agreements reached by Zelenskyy during talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G7 Summit held in Japan on May 20.

The implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, in particular the strengthening of international support for the Ukrainian peace plan and the potential participation of India in the implementation of its individual parts, was the main theme of their conversation.

The parties talked about the Global Peace Summit’s preparations in this aspect. Andriy Yermak underlined the importance of including the Global South as well as the broadest range of nations feasible in this event.

The Ukrainian Peace Formula is now more vital than ever, for both Ukraine and the rest of the globe, as recent events have once again demonstrated. In order to prepare for the Global Summit on the Application of the Formula, we are actively engaging with partners. India should participate, the head of the presidential office said.

As per the official website of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Andriy Yermak briefed Ajit Kumar Doval in detail on the situation on the front lines as well as on Russia’s continuous missile and drone terror against peaceful Ukrainian cities and residents.
