Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan appeared before the Islamabad High Court on Friday amid tight security in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case, ARY News reported, a day after the Supreme Court deemed his arrest “illegal” and responsible for fatal clashes across the country.

Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), appears to be seeking bail. Imran Khan’s petition will be heard soon by a two-member special division bench comprised of Justices Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Saman Imtiaz.
