MI, SRH eye third consecutive victory in today’s contest

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is gearing up to take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in today’s IPL fixture to be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

Incidentally, both sides made a similar kind of start in the ongoing IPL session. They began their campaign in a disappointing manner, losing their first two matches. After that, both teams came back strongly, winning the next two matches.

An important match is set to be played this evening, and both would like to go all out and win today’s match to maintain their winning momentum.

Mumbai Indians picked up beautifully after two heavy defeats, defeating the Delhi Capitals as well as the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Sunrisers Hyderabad performed below par in the first two matches, losing to RR by a huge margin of 72 runs and, in the next encounter bowing down to LSG by five wickets.

However, Aiden Markram’s side, without looking back, emerged victorious in the next matches and restored parity.

Both sides have quality players who can change the complexion of the match from any position. Skipper Aiden Markram, Harry Brook, Mayank Agarwal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Adil Rashid are the key players, but they have to punch above their weight to stop the Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians are replete with a fantastic lineup in batting as well as bowling. It would be a difficult task to contain players like Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav.

One question must be coming to the minds of cricket fans: whether Arjun Tendulkar will get another chance in today’s match.

It seems the Hyderabad temperature will remain warm. The pitch is likely to be a paradise for the batters, but spinners may get some help in today’s encounter.

Therefore, a mouthwatering match is on the cards.
