Army colonel’s brother beaten to death for protesting loud music

An army officer’s brother died of injuries in Bengaluru after three drunken men allegedly assaulted him and his sister for objecting to loud music, as per the police.

Lloyd Nemaiah died from his injuries at a hospital on Tuesday, according to police. According to them, the incident occurred on April 2 between 3 and 4 a.m., when a group of men were allegedly playing loud music in a car outside the deceased’s home.

In statement police reveals “When Lioyd raised objections to loud music being played outside his home, the drunken men unleashed an assault on Nemaiah.”

They further added “He was admitted to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.”

The alleged incident occurred in Bengaluru’s Vignan Nagar, near the HAL police station.

Police said they are working to identify those responsible for the attack on Lloyd Nemaiah. An official further added “No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident.”
