The Canadian province of Saskatchewan has offered to enhance cooperation with Haryana in the field of food and energy security. Under this, a six-member Canadian delegation led by Premier Scott Moe met Chief Minister Manohar Lal and discussed issues of mutual cooperation in various fields. Canada is already cooperating with India in the nuclear sector. The delegation also included former Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister apprised the delegation about the geographical conditions of Haryana.
