After being defeated by England in the second semi-final on Thursday India’s star batter and former skipper Virat Kohli shared a heartfelt message on Friday and thanked his fan.

Taking to Twitter former Indian captain expressed his disappointment in not reaching the final and said, “We leave Australian shores short of achieving our dream and with disappointment in our hearts but we can take back a lot of memorable moments as a group and aim to get better from here on.”

The former skipper also thanked all his fans who were present in the stadium to support team India.

“Thank you to all our fans who turned up in huge numbers throughout to support us in the stadiums. Always feel proud to wear this jersey and represent our country,” Virat said.

Earlier on Thursday in T20 World Cups Virat became the first batter to complete 1,100 runs at the Adelaide Oval during the second semifinals of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, on Thursday England thrashed India by 10 wickets and won the match in just 16 overs.

The ballistic performance of Buttler led the team to win the match. India gave the target of 169 runs for which Buttler hit 80 runs and Hales hit 86 runs.

Moreover, on Wednesday, the men in green team Pakistan reached the Men’s T20 World Cup final after defeating New Zealand by seven wickets.

The two-star players of Pakistan Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan smashed key half-centuries which helped Pakistan to reach in ICC T20 World Cup final.

However, the ICC T20 World Cup final will be played between Pakistan and England on 13 November 2022.
