Security and medical sources report that an explosion on Saturday in east Baghdad resulted in ten fatalities and more than twenty injured.
The explosion took place in a garage near a football stadium and a café when an explosive device attached to a vehicle detonated, leading to another explosion of a gas tanker that was close by, according to the security sources.
The majority of the casualties were amateur football players at a nearby stadium.
Several people were hurt when a gas tanker burst into a garage in East Baghdad, according to a military statement, and security authorities are now looking into what caused the incident.
