Fashion changes faster than the direction of the wind. One day an item can be fashionable, and the other day same item can become tacky. Fashion has changed over decades, now it changes with months. There is a long list of items if we talk about strange fashion trends.

Let us take a look at a few of those:

  1. Inflated balloon trousers : These trousers gained a lot of media attention and criticism. These were designed by emerging designer Harikrishnan for a show at the London College of Fashion. The trousers were normal from the top but as they went down towards the legs, the fabric inflated like balloons. Unpractical, these trousers gained a lot of criticism in the media.
  2. Grass-stained jeans by Gucci Visiting a park or a garden, the last thing you would want is to get grass stains on your pants. But, the fashion giant Gucci is here to make you question your fashion sense. Gucci introduced grass-stained jeans that too for a whopping Rs 56 thousand. Bizarre, isn’t it?
  1. Distressed stockings by Gucci : Did you know, Stockings turned into distressed stockings? Gucci is amazing at introducing bizarre fashion items. The price is almost half of the average Indian salary, a whopping $190. If anyone would want to wear torn stockings, they would tear themselves.
  2. Fried Chicken Crocs : You read it correctly! “Crocs that look like a bucket of fried chicken come to those who wait”. No one in the world was waiting for this. The weird part is they even smell like fried chicken. That’s insane. The designer could not have made it worse.
  3. Upside-down sunglasses :The lack of new trendy items can not stop fashion giants from coming up with bizarre ideas. Can you believe the upside down sunglasses were a trend a while ago? The cost will make your head turn for sure. A whopping Rs. 55,672 for inverted sunglasses. The question is who is buying these crazy items?
