Hello, Namaste!

The Bear-forces are back, markets lost around 0.40% in benchmark indices led by Bank Nifty, while other sectoral performances varied.

Welcome to our live coverage as the Indian stock markets opens on August 8, 2025. Yesterday’s session saw an interesting contest of bulls and bear forces, eventually the Sensex and Nifty gaining marginally.

Markets opened flat red today, NIfty50 and Sensex gapping down around 0.20%. GIFT Nifty and Indian ADRs already suggested a volatile opening today morning.

As the markets move forward, the benchmark indices keep dealing in losses, with most of the sectoral indices such as Metal, IT, Auto and Bank trading down.

After an interesting session yesterday, today is set to have another volatile trading contest. Will the bears arrive at the party in full flow, or do the bulls stand any chance? Let's keep you updated.
