Before the warm-up fixture against Bangladesh in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian cricket team was spotted gearing up for the match at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

As per viral footage, the cricketers were practicing in the nets. Players like Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, and Avesh Khan were also seen bowling.

Catch The Glimpse: – 

India will begin their T20 world cup campaign on June 5 against Ireland at new stadium Nassau County stadium in New York.

Furthermore, eagerly anticipated matches such as India versus Pakistan are scheduled to take place on June 9th.

After that, India will meet its co-hosts USA on June 12. Then on June 15, it will play Canada, to conclude their Group-A matches.

Through this tournament, India is aiming to break their ICC trophy drought, with their last victory being the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

Despite consistently reaching the finals and semi-finals of various ICC tournaments since 2014, the Indian cricket team has yet to secure a big ICC trophy.

Besides, India is also aiming for their first T20 world cup title, as they last won the tournament way back in 2007 in south Africa. Previously, in the last edition of 2022 Australia, India lost the match to England by 10 wickets in semifinal.
