The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has arrested two foreign nationals with 8 kg of heroin worth Rs 40 crores in the international market at Mumbai airport.

Earlier on Sunday, two foreign nationals were taken into custody by DRI with 8 kg of heroin.

Meanwhile, DRI received information that two foreign nationals had come to Mumbai to smuggle drugs.

Moreover, after taking them into custody, DRI interrogated the smugglers and also checked their luggage in which they found 4 kg of white powder, each of which was heroin.

However, further details into the matter are awaited.
