During live streaming, a South Korean woman was harassed and molested in which two accused were arrested and now they have been sent to one-day police custody on Thursday.

Earlier on Tuesday night two people molested and harassed the YouTuber who is a South Korean national. She was molested and harassed when she was Live Streaming from the Khar area of Mumbai.

Meanwhile, on social media, the incident has gone viral and the arrested accused have been identified as Mobeen Chand Mohd Shaikh of age 19, and Mohd Naqib Sadarialam Ansari age 20.

Under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) the case has been arrested by the Khar police after the video went viral.

“Mumbai Police’s Khar Police station has taken a Suo Moto action in an incident that happened with a Korean woman (foreigner) in the jurisdiction of Khar West. In this regard, both the accused have been arrested and booked under relevant sections of the IPC,” Mumbai Police tweeted.

Moreover, in the viral video both the accused were seen forcing the Korean woman to sit in their car, and later one of the accused put his hand on her shoulder and tried to kiss her cheeks.

Taking to Twitter victim tweeted, “Last night on stream, there was a guy who harassed me. I tried my best not to escalate the situation and leave because he was with his friend. And some people said that it was initiated by me being too friendly and engaging in the conversation. Makes me think again about streaming.”
