The state government transferred 17 IAS officers on Thursday night. Meanwhile, three IAS officers have been given additional charges. IAS officer Gaurav Goyal, who served as the Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister in the Gehlot government, will now be the Secretary to Governor Kalraj Mishra.
With the change of government in the state, Gaurav Goyal was appointed as the Principal Secretary in the Administrative Reforms Department. However, now, within 20 days, he has been transferred again and appointed as the Secretary to the Governor. Meanwhile, IAS Subir Kumar, who was the Secretary to the Governor, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Higher and Technical Education.
