The Medical Education Department had sought applications from November 4 to appoint new superintendents in government hospitals attached to Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur and five other medical colleges of the state. November 7 is the last date for this. A total of 13 doctors have applied for the post of superintendent in hospitals attached to Sawai Mansingh Medical College. This time, not a single woman doctor applied. These applications will now be sent to the government, after which the interviews will be conducted.
Applications were invited for the position of superintendent at various hospitals affiliated with SMS Medical College in Jaipur, including the State Cancer Hospital, JK Lone Hospital, Super Specialty Hospital, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Gangori Hospital, Kanwantiya Hospital, Satellite Hospital, Banipark, and S.R. Goyal Hospital, Sethi Colony. A total of 13 doctors have submitted their applications for the role.
Among the applicants are the current acting superintendent of SMS Hospital, Sushil Bhati, Dr Kailash Meena, the Superintendent of JK Lone Hospital, Dr Anurag Dhakad, in charge of the Trauma Centre, and an orthopaedic specialist, Dr B.P. Meena, in charge of the SMS emergency department, Dr R.S. Tanwar, acting superintendent at Kanwantiya Hospital, and Govardhan Meena, acting superintendent at Satellite Hospital in Adarsh Nagar.
Additionally, Dr Sandeep Jasuja, Superintendent of the State Cancer Hospital, Dr Sanjeev Devgarha, HOD of the CTVS Surgery Department at SMS, and Dr Suresh Singh, a senior cancer specialist, has also applied. Other applicants include senior radiotherapist Ravindra Gothwal, Dr Prachis Ashdhir, professor in the Gastroenterology Department, Dr Ligneshwar Harshvardhan, professor in the General Medicine Department, and senior chest specialist Dr Mahendra Bainada.
