In a shocking incident in Begusarai, Bihar, a 12-year-old boy was tied to a railway track and beaten with sticks by three men who suspected him of stealing items from a nearby shop. The boy was rescued by local police, who have since arrested the three men involved.
A disturbing video shows the boy tied to the track, with one of the men standing over him, holding a stick. The incident took place near Lakhminia Railway Station in Begusarai, a district known for its political history, often referred to as the Leningrad of Bihar.
The three men, identified as Roshan Kumar, Jay Ram Chaudhary, and Rahul Kumar, tied the boy to the track and beat him with sticks. The police intervened and rescued the boy, arresting the three men.
The boy’s father spoke to the media, claiming that the charges against his son were false. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Neha Kumar confirmed the incident, stating, “A minor was tied to a railway track and beaten up by three men on charges of theft. The police arrived and rescued the boy. The men who thrashed him have been arrested.”
This incident is reminiscent of a similar case in October 2023, also in Begusarai, where four boys were tied to a pole and beaten for allegedly stealing food items from a shop. The boys were accused of stealing “Kurkure and biscuit packets,” and were subsequently tied up and beaten by some men from Fazilpur village.
