'11 crore families reap benefits of centre's Jal Jeevan Mission'

Virendra Rana, representing the BJP, reported that over 11 crore families have benefited from the Jal Jeevan Mission initiative of the Central Government. Additionally, substantial financial aid of Rs 7.50 lakh crore has been extended to 10 crore women by integrating them into self-help groups.

Addressing the residents during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Mandhana, BJP’s District General Secretary Bhoj Mataur, accompanied by former MLA Latika Sharma, ADC Varsha Khangwal, D DPO Vishal Parashar, BDPO Ankit Kumar, and various senior officials, emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering citizens.

Rana highlighted the initiation of the NaMo Drone Didi Maha Campaign, aiming to empower 2 crore women across the nation, fostering economic strength. The campaign includes pilot training for women, instilling confidence and encouraging their contribution to the agricultural sector. Furthermore, the initiative focuses on linking small farmers to groups and promoting the concept of one district, one product. Rana stated that 2 lakh new units would be established, empowering individuals, particularly women and youth, through dairy development. He emphasised the ‘Local for Vocal’ initiative to disseminate its message to every street and village.

Rana urged people to pledge towards India’s development by 2047 and distributed certificates to beneficiaries of various schemes, including old-age pension, BPL cards, and the Ujjwala scheme. The Women and Child Development Department distributed certificates to newborns, pregnant women, and girl students who participated in cultural programs.

Legal aid camps were organized to provide legal information, and health benefits were offered through health and Ayurvedic camps. Stalls were set up for agriculture, animal husbandry, livelihood mission, and water life mission.
In the evening, the Sankalp Yatra received a warm welcome in Thapali village. Sarpanch Panchpal Sharma, Panch Geeta Devi, and other officials were present. The oath was administered, and certificates were distributed by District General Secretary Virendra Rana, former MLA Latika Sharma, and Sarpanch Sunil Kumar.
