Due to twin explosions in Jerusalem, one person and 18 others got injured on Wednesday.

Taking to Twitter the State of Israel’s official handle tweeted, “A horrific morning in Jerusalem. 1 killed and 18 hurt in two separate terrorist attacks in which two bombs went off at two bus stops. We mourn for the victim who was murdered and pray for the recovery of the injured.”

Earlier at 7 am, the first explosion occurred at the Givat Shaul bus stop and the second explosion happened at the Ramot junction, another entrance to the city.

Meanwhile, in both scenes, the police are there and are collecting evidence and testimonials.

Taking to Twitter Israel Police tweeted, “Israel Police forces are at both scenes, collecting evidence and testimonials, and taking action to locate the suspect.”

Moreover, the cause of the blast is unknown and the bomb was placed in a handbag left near the bus.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts so far and Israeli security agencies are searching the area.

However, following a series of attacks in Israel these explosions came and happened when Israel prepares to usher in a new government.
