What is a Miracle?
The word 'miracle' holds several meanings. It can be defined as "a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency."
Another way to think of it is as “an extraordinary occurrence in the physical world, surpassing all known human or natural powers, and attributed to a supernatural cause.”
However, miracles are not just about incredible phenomena. Their meaning also depends on how you choose to view the world.

How to Define a Miracle
Your definition of a miracle is yours because there is no right or wrong perspective. One perspective is to see every good thing in life as miraculous. In comparison, another perspective might focus on moments that defy explanation.
“There are two ways to live; you can live as if nothing is a miracle, or you can live as if everything is a miracle.” - Albert Einstein
If you choose to live by the second half of his statement, life instantly becomes fuller, brighter, and more beautiful. Yet, it is also acceptable to savor good moments without calling them miracles.
Appreciation comes in many forms, and what matters most is staying authentic to yourself. The beauty lies in its diversity of viewpoints.

Miracles in Everyday Life: The Divine Gift of Small Wonders
One of life's greatest wonders is the abundance of small miracles everywhere.
These can be as simple and profound as noticing the beauty of nature. Consider the resilience of a delicate flower blooming in the spring after enduring harsh winter weather. Year after year, the plant survives winter and produces magnificent blooms in the warm sunshine as spring unfolds. That itself is a miracle. Is it a small or big miracle? The answer depends on your personal definition.
Other miracles are closer to home and heart: a child's laughter, a spectacular sunset painting the sky, or the random kindness of a stranger.
These moments remind you of the magic woven into daily life. Think about the stranger who paid for your coffee on a tough day. Acts like these ripple outward to others, offering glimmers of love, light, and hope.

The Awe of Big Miracles
While small miracles add light to your average days, big miracles can reshape your life forever. This might be the birth of a child, which many consider one of life’s true miracles. And as that baby grows, they may continue to bring miracles into your life, like the joy of becoming a grandparent.
Another type of big miracle involves moments where angels intervene to protect you. Some people share stories of narrowly avoided accidents or surviving potentially tragic events with minimal injuries. These moments are divine intervention at work, defying logic and reason.

Near-Death Experiences as Life's Greatest Miracles
One of life's greatest miracles is a near-death experience (NDE). These rare moments remind you of life’s fragility and connect you to something far more significant than anything on Earth.
When I faced my own near-death experience in 2002, thousands of angels surrounded me instantly. Although many people say their entire lives flash before their eyes in such moments, my experience was different. My consciousness remained fully intact even during the multidimensional experience of the NDE.
Shortly after my NDE, the angels informed me about one message that I needed to share with the world: No one dies alone. Even when no other human is present, angels fill the space, bringing indescribable peace and unconditional love. That love is so vast and powerful that no earthly words can fully describe its magnificence or depth.

Tuning into Miracles and Angels
Receiving miracles is easier than you might think. It all starts with opening yourself up to them. Think of it like tuning a radio to the right station. If you want to hear classical music, staying tuned into a rock channel would be unsatisfying. Similarly, if you wish to notice more miracles or feel the presence of angels, you should focus on them.
Life can feel more miraculous when you start recognizing everyday miracles. At the end of each day, take a moment to reflect. What were you grateful for? Was there a particular event or interaction with someone that made you smile?
These reflections help you tune into the beauty of life. Once you start seeing the small miracles, the larger ones often follow.

Miracles are All Around You
Whether you experience subtle miracles that warm your heart or life-changing events, miracles fill your life with hope and wonder. No matter the size of the miracle, angels are always involved, even when the miracle is delivered from another person.
There is no perfect way to define a miracle. What matters is finding joy in what feels miraculous to you. Be open, tune in, and watch as the angels reveal big and small miracles, one miracle at a time.
